Los Angeles – The Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA) on behalf of several of its member studios today filed a lawsuit against the operators of the download hub service Hotfile (www.hotfile.com) for copyright infringement. Hotfile facilitates the theft of copyrighted motion picture and television properties on a staggering scale and profits handsomely from encouraging and providing the means for massive copyright infringement.

“In less than two years Hotfile has become one of the 100 most trafficked sites in the world. That is a direct result of the massive digital theft that Hotfile promotes. Everyday Hotfile is responsible for the theft of thousands of MPAA member companies’ movies and TV shows - including movies still playing in theaters - many of which are stolen repeatedly, thousands of times a day, every single day,” said Daniel Mandil, General Counsel & Chief Content Protection Officer for the MPAA. “The theft taking place on Hotfile is unmistakable. Their files are indeed ‘hot,’ as in ‘stolen.’ It’s wrong and it must stop.”

Sometimes referred to as cyberlockers, download hubs like Hotfile bear no resemblance to legitimate online locker services. In fact, Hotfile openly discourages use of its system for personal storage. Hotfile’s business model encourages and incentivizes users to upload files containing illegal copies of motion pictures and TV shows to its servers and to third-party sites, so unlimited users can download the stolen content – in many cases tens of thousands of times. Hotfile profits from this theft by charging a monthly fee to users who download content from its servers. Hotfile also operates an incentive scheme that rewards users for uploading the most popular files - which are almost exclusively copyrighted works. Hotfile profits richly while paying nothing to the studios for their stolen content.

Hotfile is operated by Anton Titov, a foreign national residing in Florida. The studios are suing Hotfile and Titov for direct infringement for unlawfully distributing copyrighted works, inducement of infringement, contributory infringement and vicarious infringement, for actively promoting, enabling and profiting from their users’ copyright infringement. A civil lawsuit has been filed in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida for damages and injunctive relief for violations under the United States Copyright Act of 1976.

“Digital theft is not just a Hollywood problem. It’s an American problem,” Mandil said. “More than 2.4 million hardworking, middle-class Americans spanning all 50 states rely on the motion picture and television industry for their livelihoods. For all these workers and their families, digital theft means declining incomes, lost jobs and reduced health and retirement benefits.”

CSI Hard Evidence(FULL)

This is Telltale's first console game which was released inline with the PC version. It is Telltale's first Xbox 360 and Wii game. A Mac OS X version was later released by TransGaming, using their Cider technology.

The Cases

Case 1: Burning For You

In the first case, a taxi driver has been killed in an apparent arson attack inside his car. The player works with Nick Stokes in this case.

During the investigation, the victim, was found to be a racist with a criminal record. The details pointed out to a homeless man from Arizona, and two women who are in a relationship, one of them was the victim's old high school prom date and being harassed by him for two weeks.

Case 2: Double Down

A woman is repeatedly stabbed in her house and lives, but doesn't know who hurt her. The player works with Catherine Willows in this case. The husband is initially suspected after the woman is found to have entered into a contract with an aging African-American tycoon to be the surrogate mother for his son. However, after discovering that the husband was oblivious of the arrangement, it is discovered that the wife of the tycoon was only able to bear a daughter, and stabbed the woman in hopes of miscarrying the child, leaving her daughter the sole heir. This case can also be played as the sixth case of the PlayStation 2 version of the 3 Dimensions of Murder game.

Case 3: Shock Rock

The bodies of four members of a rock band called Bullet Train, are found electrocuted. The player works with Warrick Brown in this case.

The band members each have a record, except for the young singer. The suspects are the band's roadie/sound-tech, who was picked on by the band, his current lover, who is the band's second choice for a singer, the band's hateful manager, and Bullet Train's ex-singer, who was also the ex-wife of the lead guitar player.

Case 4: In Your Eyes

An eye surgeon was brutally killed in his own home. the only witness is his blind wife. The player works with Greg Sanders in this case.

During the investigation, Suspicion is initially cast on the surgeons daughter, the evidence leads back to the blind wife, in retribution for years of abuse and the botched surgery that left her blind. It is seen that murder was because of torture of the victims daughter.

Case 5: The Peacemaker

There has been a gun shootout where lots of bullets have been found, and a store clerk is shot repeatedly. One of three brothers are found waiting at the scene with murder weapons in hand. Despite a full confession and mounds of physical evidence, the trail leads back to the other two brothers, enraged at the high school aged clerk, who was having an intimate relationship with the brothers' mother. The player works with Gil Grissom in this case. Evidence finds an old pistol used in the west after which the case is named.

CSI Fatal Conspiracy (2010) FULL VERSION)

The game corresponds with the 10th season of the television series and includes the return of Sara Sidle.^[3]. Also the teams must work with FBI agent Gene Huntby.

The Cases

Case 1: Flash Baked

A burned out building turns into another crime scene when you locate a dead body in it. You work with Sara Sidle in this case. The suspects involved are the victim's ex-boyfriend and the building manager.

Case 2: Planting Evidence

A construction worker is found dead in the center of a construction site. You work with Greg Sanders in this case. During the case, we find out the victim was depressed and suicidal. The evidence points to the construction supervisor, a plumber who is the victim's friend and a gardener.

Case 3: Tapped Out

A burn victim becomes the victim of a homicide when her medical equipment is found to have been sabotaged. You work with Nick Stokes on this case. The suspects are the victim's stepbrother, her stepsister and her care nurse.

Case 4: All Washed Up

A temporary secretary was found dead in her car at a car wash. The suspects in this case are her best friend, her wealthy boyfriend, and a man, who is the boyfriend's best friend and on parole. The demo version was released for download. You work with Catherine Willows on this cases.

Case 5: Boss Fight

The cases you worked on lead up to the climax of the game's main storyline. You work with Dr. Raymond Langston on this case.

CSI Deadly Intent FULL Version

The game corresponds with the 9th season of the television series and includes Dr. Ray Langston and Riley Adams.

The Cases

Case 1: Broken Hearted

In case 1, a bride has been murdered in a hotel room. You work with Nick Stokes. The evidence leads to a Vegas visitor, the night manager of the hotel, and the victim's old friend.

Case 2: Coulda Been A Contender

A referee was found dead in the fighting ring. You work with Greg Sanders in this case. The evidence points to an angry fighter, a mysterious ring girl, and the league owner. Suspect Hank Hackett is murdered halfway through the case, making this a double homicide.

Case 3: Last Gasp

A female TV host was found drowned to death in a rehab center spa. You work with Dr. Raymond Langston in this case. The evidence leads to the victim's lover, her husband, and a TV rival.

Case 4: Extinguished

A famous fire-breather was found dead. You work with Riley Adams. In the autopsy the victim was already dying of cancer and it seems the victim was abusive and violent. The evidence leads to the victim's landlord/doctor, his wife, and his 18-year-old stepson.

Case 5: Crime Scene Impersonator

A female impersonator was found dead in a nightclub. You work with Catherine Willows in this last case. The victim was identified as a superstar but other identification turns to out to be the victim's friend and manager. This murder was staged like a serial killer from 1975. This killer was known as the Barbor Street Boozer. He got this name because he tied his victims down and poured whiskey down their throats until they died of alcohol poisoning. The evidence leads to the superstar known as Marcelle, a homeless man, and the detective that worked the case back in 1975. At the end of a case you solve a celebrity murder and a cold case.
